Hallo is an old Dutch snackbar with an automatiek (automat) that is run down and now also serves shawarma. I drop by just before midnight, when there is the occasional customer.

 

I get a berehap (literally: bear-bite) with curry ketchup, a croquette sandwich, and a soda (total of EUR 6.50 or $7). The snacks meet the lowest standard of acceptability of a Dutch snackbar.
