Shiso Burger is a busy new hipster burger
restaurant in the hipster Mitte part of Berlin. They serve 9 different types of
burger with different protein: beef, shrimp, shrimp, tuna, salmon, mushroom,
and tofu. There is a Korean twist to the place, which includes Kimchi as a
side.
I get the Bolgogi
Burger (€6.30): marinated beef, lettuce, red onion, chili-mayo, Korean chili
base, and teriyaki sauce. It comes on an odd bun and overall has a fresh taste,
more like Korean than burger. I also get a side of Homemade Fries (€2.90). They
are very crispy and tasty. Portions are modest.
VERDICT: 87/100
