We came to Julie Darling Donuts minutes after finishing our delicious meal at Good Dog. Now, I know what you think, weren't you guys full? Uhm, I guess so, but how can you pass by an original donut shop? Moreover, this is a hipster donut shop! Ok, not as hip as Voodoo Doughnuts but close. We come in just before they close.
They still have a pretty full vitrine, but we just don't have the space left in our tummies to make a serious dent in it. So, instead we opted for one originally glazed (to test the quality) and a couple of titbits. I hope I don't get her in trouble, but the nice girl behind the counter just gave them to us. Sweeeeet! The donut was very tasty, even though it wasn't too fresh anymore; the titbits were a bit more doughy, and did have different tastes, but were somewhat overpowered by the sugar and sweetness.
VERDICT: 83/100
Julie Darling Donust is a cool and original donut place, which has good old-fashioned donuts, and great staff. Visit them!
