Grind House Killer Burgers is part of the most recent hype in the restaurant business: concept burger joints. It has two locations in Atlanta (so far). We went to the first one, which has a nice outside deck, and sports a kind of cool, retro tattoo/Super Vixens theme. The menu is mostly burgers, which you can either build yourself or choose from one of the eight original creations.
I chose the Hillbilly Style with two patties ($7.50), which comes with brisket chili, sliced onions and jalapenos. The bread is soft, the patties juicy, and the chili is delicious and gets a nice kick from the jalapenos. I also get a side of Crinkle Cut French Fries ($1.99), which are fairly standard but crispy. I decide to get a Cup of Brisket Chili ($2.99), which is really good... chunky, not bean dominated, and with a little kick to it.
VERDICT: 87/100
Killer Burgers is a cool, but bit too trendy, burger joint, which serves good burgers and particularly good chili. It is quite pricey, however.
