The Pita Grille is a small new pita
restaurant in a strip mall in the Jewish area of Atlanta. The restaurant is
kosher and only does sandwiches: shawarma, schnitzel, kebab, falafel, etc. All
are $10, as an opening price, and come on your choice of three types of bread:
pita, baguette, and laffa.

I get the Shawarma
on Pita, which comes with spiced and marinated chicken (from skewer), hummus,
eggplant, onion, cucumber, tomato, pickles, amba and tahini. The seasoning is a
bit odd, more curry (coronation), but the chicken is tender and the combination
of tastes is nice. The pita is soft but strong.
VERDICT: 83/100
Pita Grille offers
nice Mediterranean sandwiches with fresh condiments and tasty tender meat. It
is, however, too pricey for what it offers.
